IV: KEEN > 1B1
Filed Route: this was a training exercise with holding procedures under VFR.
Distance: 137 nm
Termination: 1B1 RNAV Rwy 21 (Full Stop)
Billy and Doug are flying from KEEN to 1B1, the last leg of the fifth (5th) day and another VFR training flight. Once they reach a cruising altitude of 6,500' Doug gives Billy holding instructions at GRISY. He takes him around the pattern several times and spends much of the time sharing his signature wind correction formula. A much more detailed look at this holding segment, with flight analysis from CloudAhoy, can be found in the the Day 5 highlights.
