Morning Briefing at KAVL
Doug and Billy prepare for Day two (2) of their trip. Join them in the FBO conference room at KAVL as Doug digs deeper into the ADDS platform and looks at the weather for today's flight to KDNL, KAYS, KLAL, KTIX and KSSI. This is beyond the big picture discussion from Day one (1) and it shows the depth of information available to pilots on aviationweather.gov. Some airports do not show TAF's so Doug uses the online Graphical Forecasts for Aviation as a resource. This helps determine if they need a legal alternate; i.e., the 1/2/3 rule.
