A review of the day's events starts with the weather that moved in the night before in Bangor. High winds delayed our departure and then challenged us enroute and with some landings. Other highlights reviewed from Day 5 include:
- Near collision with a bald eagle at 3,000'
- Severe wave action over the White Mountains
- Getting a 1500' altitude block
- No power at KBML - BML VOR out of service: No NOTAM
- Asserting ourselves with ATC for a lower altitude
- Partial panel approach
- Hold and procedure turn tips and techniques
- Flying an ODP
- Crossing a ridge line with lee side sink
- Cold beer
